1. Click ‘Join for FREE’ to create an account and become the Administrator. While signed in at echobox.ca, Administrators can invite Caregivers (themselves, a therapist, team member, etc) and add Storytellers (those in care). Important: Stories and memories are not captured online by Administrators.
2. An invited Caregiver receives a link via email and downloads the Echobox Memory Vault App onto their smartphone or tablet. Once signed into the account they can add Storytellers to their Dashboard by checking the box next to the Storyteller’s name, create profile pictures, add some information and browse the Topics list. Important: Stories and memories are captured on the Echobox Memory Vault App by Caregivers.
3. Choose a Topic that your Storyteller is interested in and capture a Story! Every new Echobox account provides one Caregiver, one Storyteller and one Story. By upgrading to a paid account Caregivers are unlimited, the amount of Stories are unlimited and the Storyteller(s) only cost $1/day each – that’s cheaper than a cup of coffee!
Including Echobox among the existing perks and programs offered upon admission, the service becomes free to onboard. As care teams begin to access these comforts and preferences, daily challenges can be approached with love, kindness and squarely addressed with an emotionally intelligent solution. Families can create private accounts if they wish to ensure their loved one has access to all the treasured sights and sounds that put a smile on their face. Every Echobox Story can be titled, can host 1,000 words of text (including multiple links to amazing online videos, songs and other information), can include 3 photos, a video recording and an audio recording!
